Abstract: Q methodology is a set of theories and techniques that permits the scientific study of subjectivity. Q methodology should be of interest to all students in the human sciences, including political science. In this research methods case study, readers are introduced to the basic principles of Q methodology, the steps necessary in carrying out a study using Q, and an application exploring attitudes toward President Trump’s foreign policy toward North Korea.
