42d Q conference: abstract submission
Abstract submission for the 42d annual conference of the International Society for the Scientific Study of Subjectivity is now open.
The conference will take place on the 16th-18th September 2026 at the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center, Kent, Ohio.
The programme committee welcomes submissions on all aspects of Q methodology and contributions inspired by the seminal work of Dr. William Stephenson. We recognise the value of receiving feedback throughout the research process and work in progress studies are welcome as well as completed Q methodology studies.
Please submit your abstract via the online form. Note that we will not accept abstracts unless submitted via this method. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, with the possibility to present either online or onsite in Kent.

- Notification of acceptance: No later than May 15, 2026
Abstracts should be within a 500 word limit. Your abstract should include an explanation of how your study applies Q methodology. Please do not include tables / graphs / diagrams / symbols / references in your abstract.
