is the official mailing- and discussion list for ISSSS and all things Q. It is hosted at Kent State University and moderated by Steven Brown.
Web Interface
At listserv.kent.edu, after registering, you can:
- (un)subscribe to participate in the discussion,
- manage your settings,
- browse messages online and
- search the archives going back to 1996.
Email Interface
You can also operate the mailing list by sending emails. The full list of commands can be found in the documentation.
Here are some frequently used commands:
- To subscribe, send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “SUBSCRIBE Q-METHOD”.
- To unsubscribe, send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “UNSUBSCRIBE Q-METHOD”.
- To send a message to the list reaching all the people currently subscribed, send an email to Q-METHOD@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU.
- To obtain a copy of your own messages to the list, send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “SET Q-METHOD REPRO”.
- To receive a short acknowledgement of your own messages to the list, send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “SET Q-METHOD ACK NOREPRO”.
- To disable all acknowledgements, send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “SET Q-METHOD NOACK NOREPR”.
- To receive a list of all archived messages, send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “INDEX Q-METHOD”.
- To receive a daily digest (rather than all messages individually), send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “SET Q-METHOD DIGEST”.
- To obtain a current member list of all people currently subscribed, send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “REVIEW Q-METHOD”.
- To obtain a current member list by country, send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “REVIEW Q-METHOD (BY COUNTRY)”.
- To conceal your membership details from others using the above “REVIEW” commands, send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU with the message “SET Q-METHOD CONCEAL”.
